As part of the leadership and executive team for an Employment Relations and Transformation consultancy for the past 12 years, Roxanne Da Mata believes that she is equipped to not only fill the position but excel in the same. Roxanne has managed the full HR function for clients as well as devised cost-effective BEE strategies across all sectors. She has managed teams, advised C-level management as well as fulfilled the marketing, PR and Sales function of the business whilst heading up the Transformation Department. Roxanne is currently the Managing Director and Founder of BEE The Change Training and Incubation. She was educated as an Economist and subsequently developed a keen interest in B-BBEE and its related disciplines. She is a highly skilled and respected Transformation Specialist. Roxanne has 12 years’ experience in various industries and is able to use her knowledge of business, Human Resources, Employment Relations, the B-BBEE codes, Skills Development Act, the Employment Equity Act, and legislative compliance, to assist organizations in implementing revolutionary strategies to transform their organizations. She has appeared as an expert on SABC News, eTV, Channel Africa, Power FM, Rolling Inspiration, The BEE Chamber, Daily News, Cape Argus, Cape Talk, IT-Online, Bizcommunity, City Press, The Skills Portal, My Pressportal, HR Future and is a resident contributor for CHRO South Africa. BEE The Change is the sovereignty in business acclimatization, offering a blended consulting model to assist businesses to adapt to new conditions through bespoke training, coaching and SMME development programmes. Roxanne has created a platform for interactive, digital training which is facilitated by South Africa’s Successful CEOs and Entrepreneurs that are specialists in their respective disciplines. She has also developed a full turn-key solution to absorb unemployed individuals into employment, who are mentored into running their own micro-enterprises. Roxanne is a proactive and strategic professional that expresses her passion to her craft with drive and focus. She is a tenacious problem solver and is entrepreneurially minded with a keen eye for opportunity. She a strong negotiator with a love for public speaking that has, over her career, allowed her to grow a very valuable network. Roxanne has recently developed a relationship with United Way South Africa which has resulted in donations of PPE to 750 households in the KZN region for a COVID-19 Initiative, as well as many other donations in kind through her networks.
